용법용량셀레늄으로서 1일 100 μg을 근육주사 또는 정맥주사한다. 필요한 경우 1일 200 μg까지 증량할 수 있다.
치료가 적절한지를 확인하기 위하여 셀레늄의 혈중농도를 측정해야 한다.
만약 이 약을 종합 비경구 영양요법(TPN)기본 주사에 추가로 투여할 경우 반드시 1일 용량은 셀레늄으로서 100 μg을 사용해야 한다.
